Available for multiple scenarios for heating and/or cooling applications, the SMT-ASCRT Rooftop Controller is a high-speed BACnet MS/TP direct digital controller designed for use with packaged rooftop units. BTL listed as a BACnet Application Specific Controller (B-ASC), it supports all standard BACnet baud rates.


SMT-ASCRT Features

Software Configurable Device Addressing - for BACnet MS/TP network protocol
Dedicated Zone Temperature Input - utilizing STATbus protocol with the ability to network up to four (4) digital SBC-STAT devices
Five (5) Universal Inputs - configurable for discharge temperature, outside air temperature, occupancy detection, proof of flow sensing, and other general purpose input sensing applications. The Universal Inputs are jumper selectable to allow for configuration of resistance, DC voltage, or current signal types.
One (1) Opto-Isolated Digital Input - can be used for a status input or for pulse counting applications
Five (5) Relay Outputs - used for controlling a fan, two (2) stage heating, two (2) stage cooling, or economizer. All outputs include timers for minimum on/off, run hour tracking, as well as other control features for the rooftop control algorithm.
Four (4) Analog Outputs - used for auxiliary PID control of proportional valves, economizer, or other application with a host device
Four (4) Standard PID Control Loops - fully configurable for analog output applications
Onboard Real Time Clock (RTC) for time keeping
Support for One (1) BACnet Schedule - provides complete time of day scheduling
Economizer Application - allows fresh air and recycled air to be mixed depending on indoor and outdoor temperatures
Configurable Setpoint - with optional setback for unoccupied and night setback modes
